I really need to stop being lazy and start blogging more frequently!
SO!
I SURVIVED 5 WEEKS OF NEURO ATTACHMENT AT NUH!!!! (barely)..
To me, that attachment was a NIGHTMARE, cuz inpatient, especially neuro just isn't my cup of tea..
Had so much trouble just trying to adapt to the in-patient environment that I almost failed this placement.. totally not good man! my grades are so gonna be affected.

However hard time I had during the placement, I did felt a sense of fulfillment when I see my patients getting better and better each day. When seeing them like that, I actually feel that all that sh*t I got from the placement wasn't so bad! Well, to be honest, all the scoldings I got was to help make me a better physio, so what more could I ask for right? Take in the scoldings and make changes accordingly so as not to make the same mistakes again.

I sure am glad that I have friends that cheers me up after a long and difficult week :)
Last Friday I met up with them (as usual), no DP this time..
Went Swee Choon and had a PIGGING SESSION! We ordered sooooo much food.
We spent a total of 50bucks eating dim sum among the 3 of us.. fattening ttm!!! Haha..
It was a dinner filled with laughter and tears from laughing too hard.
We left Swee Choon with very filled and satisfied tummies!

Then we met up again just a few days back, on my last day of attachment.
I met up with a friend prior to meeting them for dinner and oh boy, i find that dinner session awkward.
Ok, to my knowledge,it is common courtesy to look at the person when she/he is talking right? but this guy actually looked away when I was talking to him.. not even an eye contact.. rude much?? And I had to try my best to keep conversation going otherwise there'll just be awkward silence.. HMMMM...
even if you are shy, you should at least talk a bit more right???
ARGH! really can't stand guys like him.. :/

So anyways, the usual group of us went to catch a movie.. and they actually lied to me saying that we were gonna watch POSSESSION! wts! and tickets were bought already. I was seriously regretting ttm, cuz I really can't take thrillers/scary movies...
End up! they bought the tix for another movie -.-
tio scammed!!!
Movie was not bad.. interesting plot. though i still don't know what the title was. LOL.
Gonna end off here and blog again tml (if i remember) about the mid-autumn festival celebration i went to yesterday :)

Preeti's 21st and Girls night out!

HELLO!!!

I got posted back to NUH main building already :'( I miss all my patients back at westpoint., especially that uber cute granny!!! She cried when I told her it was my last day there!!! :'(
Work and environment at the main building is sooooo different and that made be super super stressed up.
The patients there are so acute and especially at the high dependency unit, where there are more lines on the patients.. for the clumsy me, it is a really stressful environment cuz every step i take i have to be careful >.<

Anyways, 14 September was Preeti's birthday!
She invited us to her birthday party at " The Sentosa Resort and Spa" at the Garden Villa.
Nice and atas place, so I had no choice but to dress up!
Had to borrow a maxi dress from my friend! HAHA..
One thing I don't like about parties is that there would be awkwardness cuz the host would invite all of her friends from primary school all the way to university. So, everybody were in their own clique, and the birthday girl was hopping around entertaining everybody there. This party was no exception. Besides talking to my jc friends who went, there was nothing else to do except taking pictures.

Alrighty. Enough about the boring party. HAHA.

Yesterday, I went to catch a movie with RT and Larrison. 

As usual, I was late -.- 

Anyway, after movie RT and I had a GIRLS NIGHT OUT!

We bought a voucher off streetdeals.com for $21.90 for 3 hours of free flow drinks at the " Gourmet Bistro" at Hong Kong Street (opposite Clarke Quay central)

 I kinda like that place, good to chillax with friends and the food is not too expensive. Compared to this place, I think Timbre is kind of overrated. Service is good too!

However, it would be better if there were to be live band there!

Since our voucher was free flow of drinks, the guy at the bar kept giving us drink we didn't order.. HAHA. so the pictures below, most of them are what the person served us!

Hellohello!!!
It was a really busy and exhausting 2 weeks at my neuro placement with all the questions asked, along with my uber lousy theory on neurophysiology and anatomy. Am still struggling quite a bit since neuro has never been my strong point.

Anyways, there's nothing better than to end the stressful Week 1 of the attachment with nice dinner and nice company :))
Gelly, my clinical buddy recommended me this place for dinner.. *drum roll*
FOOD FOR THOUGHT @ Botanic Gardens
This branch is really huge and is located right next to the carpark, enter via Tanglin gate.
I wanted to go to the one located at 8 Queens street though, but majority vote was for botanic gardens, so well.. off we went!
DP drove around Botanic Gardens for almost an hour as 1.) it was dark 2.) we didn't notice 'Tanglin Gate'.
So by the time we arrived, it was almost 8pm.. and by then I was really starving!

This dish actually tasted not bad, but i guess that depends on whether you can accept the taste of basil. Cuz RT didn't like it and had a hard time finishing it.

Eileen's Grilled Barramundi Fillet

THIS IS NICE! plus it comes with some Ratatouille! Totally yummy :)

Definitely worth a try. :)

DP's Slow Roasted BBQ Baby Back Pork Ribs

this is as tasty as it looks! But i think my photography skills didn't do this dish justice.. HEHE :P

It costs $20 and it's a really huge serving! DP didn't manage to finish it, leaving 3 ribs and the salad.!

Shared this Ratatouille with DP.

I'm not a very big fan of capsicon and celery, however they made this dish totally yummy as it had rich taste of tomato and the sourness is just nice. Plus it's only $4! :D

Red Velvet Cake.

Not as yummy as what my friend had described. was disappointed with how this turn out.. The cake was too dry, the only thing i like about this is that the chocolate on top just melted in my mouth..THAT'S ALL!

Generally the food was alright. Not really fantastic. I would rate this a 3+/5 I guess. 

But the price is reasonable and the serving is HUGE! I would recommend you guys to share it if your appetite isn't very big. 

Well, after dinner, the gals wanted to go look at planes, so we headed to Changi Beach!

It was a cooling and breezy night, with many planes flying over head..

But well, i got bored after a while though.

Plane flying closer.. I like how the light from the plane shines onto the surface of the sea :))

Now, Moving onto 07/09/12,

I went out with the same clique again to get present for Preeti, a classmate of mine in TPJC whose birthday celebration is coming up.

I wore my maxi skirt for the first time ever!

So, we went to Medz @ Orchard central for dinner.

Totally like the food there! 

I shall not say more and let the few pictures do the talking.!

I shared the above 2 dishes with RT and we couldn't finish eating them ( not cause they taste horrendous).. it was too filling!!! 

But it was absolutely delish! :D

Both items combined cost us $24! Cheap and yummy!! :D

Well, I did something dumb that night though.. I made a stupid bet I couldn't get myself out of, and had to treat them to coldstone icecream in the end..

I don't even know what they ordered.. :(

OK! time to end off this freaking long entry...and start doing my work and head to bed ASAP!

It's gonna be a scary + busy + uber stressful week ahead.. :(

then it'll be preeti's birthday..
